For many years now yoga has been at the core of my life. It's been my rock and anchor in tough times when I most needed it and lifted me up when things were going well. The more I practice and study the more this practice infuses into every part of my existence. The mind, body, spirit benefits are vast and there is something for everyone which is why I love to guide others too.
As a single mother to a toddler, I'm also in a place where I value deep rest more than ever before. The benefits of rest are commonly overlooked. I don't want to lean in, I want to lie down. This reflects in the way I design my classes and teach.
My love of yin yoga blossomed throughout my pregnancy as I found it both challenging and restorative.
I aim to share the benefits of yoga though a well rounded class that incorporates movement (āsana), breathing (prānāyāma), meditation (dhyāna)along with yogic and taoist philosophies.
As I'm also trained in Yoga Nidra, the practice of conscious sleep I often include techniques such as body-scans into savasana to encourage deep relaxation.
As well as in person classes on Wednesday's at 5:30 PM at Koru Center in Nelson. I also share guided Yoga Nidra sessions on InsightTimer for free or donation.
I am also the host of All Mats Taken Yoga Business Podcast & Events which creates resources to help fellow yoga teachers build sustainable businesses.

Oh my gosh what a beautiful space and Adrianne is amazing...her classes are slow and delicious...it doesn't matter what level you are practicing at she encourages us to concentrate on our own mat..there's no pretense no pressure just wonderful stretches and perfect relaxation. My one hour a week with Adrianne is a gift I give to myself and I admitt I'm always a little sad when I hear the twinkle of bells knowing the class is nearly over. I swear on Wednesday nights in Nelson we are the most relaxed people in town "
